Depends, have you got a time machine?
(Seriously though, pretty hard, unless you have money and a lot of patience)

Close enough, but I hate the color on the first one. That second one needs moar RB28 .

Clean one with a manual? HAHAHAHAHAHAH
Cleanish one with a decent amount of miles and an automatic? Pretty feasible.
The process for a manual swap is very well documented but just know that is basically a requirement in order to end up with a manual s13 that isn’t a drift slut.

You’d have a better time finding the Ark of the Covenant.

I do see them, like MR2s etc... usually driven by boring looking people, who are the original owners. They will be great cars when they trade it in for a new Miata.

Will trade Ark of the Covenant for a clean manual S13

I like that...

At the moment I would assume if there is one, it’s probably an automatic.
I almost bought a stock one last year, but it was probably imported grey market from the US and the engine was maintained (and I think rebuilt) by a guy who was younger than me (I was 23 at the time) so I Nope.jpeg out of there...

Sure...

Better search for a real unicorn first. Might be easier.

Impossible. They do not exist in California. Well, I should say, good ones do not exist in California. If you want a 3-valve automatic ‘89 for $5000, I can probably find you one, but a KA24DE manual? Nope nope nope.

But I’m in Maryland

All your S13s are belong to me drift wannabes. A close-knit as the drift scene is back there, I’d be surprised if you have any either.

The only stock one I've seen in years was beat to hell

They exist, but you’ll pay $6k for it.

Found a few
https://frederick.craigslist.org/cto/5721548397… probably the last facelift manual car that hasn’t been thrashed
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/cto/566924… high miles, and far from perfect, but manual and untouched mod wise. Not a fan of the wheels though
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/568211… at this price, I'm convinced it has to be a scam...

Not impossible. Look for one being by a better-educated woman or an old couple. I’ve seen a few turds, but the old people even welded new metal onto the frame and converted to R134a A/C. Unmodded, sold for like $4,500.
The shitty S13s sell higher than stock ones somehow. I guess “fmic” and ISR coilovers negate maintainance-related dilapidation.

That’s it.
If
they exist, they’re the most undesirable model. Autos.
